Michelle Stanley has called Colorado home since the age of four.  She currently resides in Boulder and is in her last year at the University of Colorado. 

A former Miss Colorado (1996) and Miss Colorado USA (1998), she won the Burt Parks Talent award while competing for Miss America.

Although Michelle has worked as an actress for many years d.c.m. is her first film.  She has an extensive background in theatre with roles in O.T. (Denver, Chicago), Crimes of the Heart and the title role in Antigone.  She credits acting with paying for her entire education.
 

Michelle works as an actor and motivational speaker in the Denver area.  She has worked as host of HDnet’s “What’s On”, “Low Carb Cookin” and for DISH network.  Michelle volunteers and speaks with middle school and high school kids about suicide prevention and self-esteem.  She has worked with DARE, RAAP, Goodwill Youth Services and the Kempe Foundation.

When not in school or at work, Michelle enjoys snowboarding, hiking, Buffalo football and spending time with her friends.
