Feature Film Back in Colorado

September 12, 2004

Boulder, Co – Reality or Fiction?  Well, it’s fiction actually. NBC/Bravo’s star of the reality show, BOY MEETS BOY, James Getzlaff will star in the comedy feature film entitled, d.c.m. – the movie, written by Colorado native and former Hollywood, CA resident, David Jensen. Mr. Jensen will be directing the film as well, which will be shot in its entirety throughout the state of Colorado.  Shooting begins September 18, 2004 in Boulder, Colorado.  The movie as described by Jensen, “…is about the worst job on the face of the Earth.”

Also starring in the film is Ghandia Johnson from CBS’ hit show, SURVIVOR THAILAND.  Executive Producer, Robert Lampereur is excited to bring feature filmmaking back to Colorado. “Colorado is a great place, we are pleased to be able to shoot this feature in such a beautiful State and plan to continue filming here.  We are committed to use as much talent and crew from Colorado as possible.  There are many talented individuals here.”

d.c.m. – the movie is coproduced in association with Cherub Productions, Jensen’s local company.  Jensen graduated from the University of Colorado, made his way to Los Angeles to live and work in the entertainment industry.  After a few years there he moved back to Colorado and wrote, directed, and produced a number of teen, educational, films and one feature.

When Jensen is asked, “What does d.c.m. stand for?”  He doesn’t answer directly, “It’s all part of the ‘buzz’ that this project is creating.  All I can tell you is that it’s a character driven comedy about these very quirky folks that work in a low-tech office.”
