don't call me - A Little Movie With a Big "Buzz!"

July 27, 2005

Boulder, Colorado – "It's definitely a cross genre movie," states executive producer, Robert Lampereur when commenting on the new movie, DON'T CALL ME.  The 111 minute feature which was shot entirely in one room is "buzzing" in Hollywood.  The feature film is currently being represented by Ostrow & Company in Los Angeles.

The movies director, Michael David Jensen describes the high concept film, "DON'T CALL ME is a movie about the worst job on the face of the earth. And, I'm sure we've all been there once or twice in our working lifetimes"

DON'T CALL ME, shot in only eight days, has just completed post production and was recently submitted to the Toronto International Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival among other majors.  Jensen explains, "We are in the process of putting together a strong team in order to make sure that this film lives up to its highest potential."  Lampereur expands, "One very unique thing about this film is that there are only thirteen cuts in the entire movie.  It is simply amazing how our Director of Photography was able to choreograph the shots. I am so happy with the end result"

The complete story and the exact setting for the movie is somewhat of a mystery but Jensen (who also wrote the script) says it is a job that almost anyone could relate to on some level, "The movie is really about these quirky characters stuck in hell, who for one reason or another are unable to get on with their lives."

Another interesting thing is that you won't find any "A-list" stars in this film.  The cast consists of James Getzlaff (NBC/Bravo's star of Boy Meets Boy), Ghandia Johnson (CBS star of Survivor Thailand), Donnie L. Betts, Lorilynne Lawson, Maiz Lucero, Jimmy Drain, Jonathan Camp, Scott Swaggart, Michelle Stanley, and Pat Adamson.  A rather small cast and all simply amazing.

Shot on a budget of just under one million dollars and accented by the amazing music of Alan Williams (Suits on the Loose, Disconnect,  The Princess and the Pea, Amazon - Academy Award Nominee IMAX, and more.) DON'T CALL ME, the one location movie about the worst job on the face of the earth, is sure to be a huge surprise hit.
